titleOfInvention Equipment and method for cleaning fragments of mercury container
abstract The invention relates to a cleaning device and a cleaning method for fragments of a mercury container. The cleaning device comprises a cleaning chamber, a combustion chamber and a precipitation chamber. The cleaning chamber is provided with a feed inlet and a discharge outlet through which fragments of the mercury vessel pass, and a cleaning liquid inlet through which cleaning liquid passes. An air flow channel for mercury vapor to pass through is arranged between the cleaning chamber and the combustion chamber. An iodine steam generating device is arranged in the combustion chamber. The settling chamber is connected with the cleaning chamber through a discharge hole. When the fragments of the mercury container are cleaned, the fragments are added into the cleaning chamber, so that the fragments are prevented from being directly treated in the air. The fragments can be well separated from mercury in the cleaning process; meanwhile, the volatilized mercury vapor enters the combustion chamber through the airflow channel, and the mercury vapor and the iodine vapor react in the combustion chamber to generate the mercury iodide which is difficult to volatilize. And precipitating the cleaned fragments and mercury in the cleaning solution, then taking out the cleaning solution, and recovering the mercury to obtain the fragments without mercury residues.
