Preparation of metal thiophenol chelates and use in selective hydrogenation. The present invention provides catalysts and their use in selective catalytic hydrogenation. Wherein, the catalyst comprises: a matrix; a plurality of chain organic molecules, the first end of each chain organic molecule in the length direction is fixed on the matrix, and the second end opposite to the first end is a free end , there is a gap between two adjacent chain organic molecules, and a plurality of the chain organic molecules define a plurality of pores. The inventors found that the catalyst can significantly reduce the catalytic hydrogenation of carbon-carbon double bonds in the reactants, and the hydrogenation selectivity of the terminal group is high, which is beneficial to obtain the target product. |
