titleOfInvention | Gelatin-based papermaking sizing agent based on hydrogen bond effect and preparation method thereof |
abstract | The invention relates to a synthetic method for preparing an environment-friendly papermaking sizing agent by using gelatin extracted from waste leather scraps. The method is based on modifying gelatin by using monomers capable of forming hydrogen bonds with gelatin and polymers thereof (such as acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, acrylamide, methacrylamide, N-hydroxymethyl acrylamide and the like), and blending and toughening the gelatin with elastomer (such as ethyl acrylate, butyl acrylate, N-octyl acrylate, isooctyl methacrylate and dodecyl methacrylate) polymerization emulsion to obtain the papermaking sizing agent which has low cost and simple process and can greatly improve the water resistance and physical and mechanical properties of paper. |
