The present invention relates to a thermosetting composition, a cured film and a color filter comprising a polyester amic acid (A), a polymer (B) of a cyclic ether compound, and a cationic polymerization initiator (C). The polyester amic acid (A) is derived from a polyhydric hydroxy compound containing X moles of tetracarboxylic dianhydride, Y moles of diamine, and Z moles in ratios where the relationship between the following formulas (1) and (2) is established. The reaction product of the raw material of the said cyclic ether compound polymer (B) is a polymer derived from the monomer containing the compound (b1) which has an oxetanyl group. From the thermosetting composition of the present invention, a cured film that prevents elution of the base component, is excellent in flatness, and has good adhesion to the base substrate can be formed. 0.2≦Z/Y≦8.0·······(1) 0.2≦(Y+Z)/X≦5.0····(2). |
