abstract The invention provides a preparation method of perfluoropolyether alcohol, comprising: 1) reaction: reacting perfluoropolyether carboxylic acid or perfluoropolyether ester in a solvent in the presence of a reducing agent, the reaction is completed, and a reaction mixture is obtained; 2) Aftertreatment: add water, alkaline solution, water and anhydrous sulfate successively to the above-mentioned reaction mixture, stir, stand for stratification, remove the upper layer solvent, dilute the lower layer product with a fluorine-containing solvent, filter, rotate, and wash , distillation to obtain perfluoropolyether alcohol. The preparation method can effectively avoid the problem that the perfluoropolyether alcohol generates gel in water, and can improve the properties of the product to obtain colorless and transparent perfluoropolyether alcohol.
