abstract |
Drug delivery devices with removable pods and related pod methods and systems are described. The drug delivery device comprises a plurality of receptacles, each receptacle configured to receive a respective drug pod, wherein each receptacle comprises: a recess configured to receive a protrusion in a respective drug pod; or a protrusion configured to be inserted into a recess in a corresponding drug pod. The respective drug pod comprises a shell made of an impermeable polymer having: a first substrate comprising an opening configured to allow delivery of a drug; a second substrate; a side surface; a protrusion attached to the side surface and extending in a direction away from the side surface; or a recess in the side surface. |
