A multi-lumen catheter for monitoring uterine contraction pressure, the catheter having an elongated body constructed and dimensioned for insertion into a patient's bladder, the catheter having a first lumen , a second lumen, and a first balloon at the distal portion, the first lumen being in communication with the first balloon. The second lumen communicates with the bladder for removal of fluid from the bladder. The first balloon is inflated with gas to form a gas-filled chamber with the first lumen to monitor the pressure within the bladder, thereby monitoring the patient's uterine contraction pressure. |
