abstract The invention discloses a preparation method and application of an activated carbon silicon dioxide/zinc oxide composite photocatalyst, and belongs to the technical field of composite photocatalyst preparation. The method comprises the following steps: step one, modifying active carbon; and step two, preparing the modified activated carbon loaded composite photocatalyst. The invention uses sol-gel method to prepare silicon oxide loaded zinc oxide gel, then uses dipping method to load the gel on active carbon, and prepares nano particles after drying and calcining. The nano particles prepared by the method have good uniformity, the particle size is 30-40nm, the stability is good, the service life is long, and the catalytic performance of the catalyst is improved.
