abstract In particular, the invention relates to a computer-implemented method for simulating the evolution of an oncogene-related tumor. The method includes providing (S10) a plurality of data segments, each data segment corresponding to a given cell of the tumor and including a degree of activation of an oncogene in the given cell. The method further includes providing (S20) a model configured to take the input data segments and output information about proliferation of respective given cells corresponding to the input data segments. Information about proliferation depends on the degree of activation of oncogenes. The method also includes running (S30) the model on one or more of the plurality of data segments, and updating (S40) the plurality of data segments based on results of the running (S30). This approach improves the simulation of the evolution of the tumor.
