Embodiments of the present invention relate to an electrode structure and a secondary battery. To provide an electrode structure and a secondary battery capable of suppressing the occurrence of internal short circuits. An electrode structure may be provided according to an embodiment. The electrode structure includes an electrode and a separator. The electrode includes an active material-containing layer. The separator contains a layer of organic fibers. The organic fiber layer is provided on the main surface of the active material-containing layer. The organic fiber layer contains a plurality of organic fibers and resin blocks. The resin block is in contact with a part of the main surface of the active material-containing layer. The resin block is integrated with a part of the plurality of organic fibers. The length of one side of the circumscribed quadrilateral of the resin block and the length of the side adjacent to one side are each 10 μm or more. |
