titleOfInvention A method for increasing the content of sulforaphane and selenium in Brassica vegetables
abstract The invention discloses a method for simultaneously increasing the content of sulforaphane and selenium in edible organs of Brassica vegetables. The method is to spray 1-4 mM sulfur fertilizer on the root and 40-150 μM selenium fertilizer on the foliage during the budding stage of broccoli or the kale bolting stage, respectively. Through the use of the invention, the content of sulforaphane in edible organs of Brassica vegetables can be effectively increased by 13.5-59%, and the content of organic selenium is 11.9-99.5 times.
