abstract | The invention belongs to the technical field of extraction and recovery of nuclear materials, and relates to a method for extracting and recovering plutonium from a plutonium-containing nitric acid solution. The method comprises the steps of oxidizing plutonium in a nitric acid solution containing plutonium in post-treatment of spent fuel into tetravalent plutonium by using an oxidizing agent, adding an organic solvent containing di (1-methylheptyl) methylphosphonate under a strong acidic condition for extraction, collecting an organic phase, adding a reducing agent, carrying out back extraction under a dilute acidic condition, and selectively reducing the tetravalent plutonium in the organic phase into trivalent plutonium and carrying out back extraction into an aqueous phase. By utilizing the method for extracting and recovering the plutonium from the plutonium-containing nitric acid solution, the plutonium and other impurities, such as uranium, fission product elements of technetium, strontium, cesium and the like can be efficiently separated, and the plutonium can be concentrated to prepare the plutonium nitrate product solution with the purity reaching the standard. |
