abstract The invention provides a high temperature resistant, flexible and gradient heat insulation material and a manufacturing process, wherein the heat insulation material is divided into four layers along the thickness direction: the high-temperature layer is used for resisting the temperature of the outer shell of the combustion chamber of the engine by using a composite material formed by clamping alumina or zirconia by using carbon fiber fabrics or carbon fiber fabrics; the middle temperature layer is composed of alumina fiber or aluminum silicate fiber, and the temperature is reduced to about 1400K; the low-temperature layer is a multi-layer calcium silicate composite flexible paper, and the temperature is reduced to be below 800K; the protective layer is composed of glass fiber rubberized fabric and serves as a protective outer skin of the whole heat insulation material, and damage to the heat insulation layer in the transportation and installation processes can be prevented. The heat insulating material can meet the requirements of the ramjet combustion chamber on heat insulating material in various aspects such as high temperature resistance, huge cooling gradient, vibration resistance and the like, and can be used for external heat insulation of liquid fuel ramjets for hypersonic missiles and integral solid-liquid combined ramjets for XX missiles.
