abstract The object of the present invention is to provide a solid aromatic polycarbonate oligomer that has significantly reduced low molecular weight components, is free of chlorine-containing compounds or has been significantly reduced, and has a high bulk density (Losse bulk density) and is easy to handle. By containing the repeating unit represented by the following formula (1), the weight average molecular weight is 500 to 10000, the low molecular weight component is 5.0 area% or less in the measurement carried out by high performance liquid chromatography, and the loose bulk density is 0.22g/cm 3 or more solid aromatic polycarbonate oligomers can solve the above-mentioned problems.
