titleOfInvention | Method for preparing porous organosilicon product and use of organosilicon product |
abstract | The present invention discloses a method of forming a porous three-dimensional (3D) organosilicon article. The method includes 1) printing a first composition with a 3D printer to form a first layer from the first composition. The method also includes II) printing a second composition on the first layer with a 3D printer to form a second layer from the second composition on the first layer. At least one of the first composition and the second composition includes a silicone composition. In this method, step II) can optionally be repeated with independently selected compositions for any additional layers. At least one of the first layer and the second layer does not consist of linear filaments. Finally, the method includes III) exposing the layer to solidification conditions. The porous three-dimensional (3D) silicone article defines a plurality of voids. |
