An aqueous polyurethane dispersion composition is disclosed. The composition comprises a polyurethane prepolymer dispersed in an aqueous medium, the polyurethane prepolymer comprising an isocyanate and a hydroxyl content of 20 to 150 mg KOH/g and a melting temperature of less than or equal to 90°C of crystalline polyester polyols. Methods of forming laminates are also disclosed. The method includes providing an aqueous polyurethane dispersion, applying the polyurethane dispersion to the surface of a first substrate such that the sides of the first substrate are aligned with the surface of the second substrate contacting and curing the aqueous dispersion, thereby laminating the first substrate to the second substrate. Also disclosed are laminates formed by the method and comprising the composition. |
