abstract The embodiment of the application provides a time setting method, television equipment and a readable medium, so as to update the time of the television equipment in a standby state. The method comprises the following steps: according to the shutdown instruction, the equipment mainboard sends the time information to the power management mainboard; the power management mainboard updates the time information; and according to the starting instruction, the equipment mainboard acquires updated time information from the power management mainboard, and sets a system clock according to the updated time information. Therefore, the time information can be updated by the power management mainboard after the equipment mainboard is powered off, the time can still be updated normally when the television equipment is in a standby state, and the time can be normally acquired when the television equipment is restarted from the standby state.
