abstract | Provided are a composite material forming method and a composite material forming apparatus capable of suppressing the generation of voids in the composite material and improving the mechanical properties and appearance quality of the composite material. In the manufacturing method of the composite material (10), the first sealing member (310) is used to seal the mold cavity (250) in which the reinforcing base material (11) is arranged and the outer peripheral region (260) in communication with the outer periphery of the mold cavity. The sealing area (270) is hermetically sealed. Then, the operation of sucking gas from the outer peripheral region and discharging the gas in the sealing region is started, and resin (12) is injected into a part of the cavity. Next, the molding die (200) is closed, the resin is extruded to fill the cavity, and the cavity and the outer peripheral region are liquid-tightly sealed by the second sealing member (320). Then, the operation of sucking gas from the peripheral region is stopped. |
