titleOfInvention | Systems and methods for delivering multiple ocular implants |
abstract | Systems and methods are disclosed for delivering a plurality of ocular implants to reduce intraocular pressure. Ocular implants can be implanted at multiple sites within a single human eye without requiring removal of the delivery device from the eye. A system for delivering multiple ocular implants can include multiple implants, an outer housing, and an introducer assembly. The outer housing may provide access to the implant segmentation actuator and the implant delivery actuator. The introducer assembly may include a self-retracting introducer portion. The delivery device may include infinite activation mechanisms/sections and/or manual segmentation mechanisms/sections. |
