titleOfInvention Application of sulfonated carbon cloth electrode
abstract An application of a sulfonated carbon cloth electrode relates to an application of a carbon cloth electrode. The invention aims to solve the technical problem that the cost of a working electrode is high when oxygen-containing metal anions are removed by electrocatalysis. The sulfonated carbon cloth electrode is used as a working electrode in three-electrode electrocatalysis and is applied to the reduction of metal elements in oxygen-containing metal anions and the fixation of the reduced metal ions. The sulfonated carbon cloth electrode prepared by the invention has a higher electrochemical active area, is beneficial to the transmission of electrons, can realize the removal of hexavalent chromium containing oxygen metal anions in wastewater and the fixation of trivalent chromium ions, and reduces the highly toxic hexavalent chromium into the trivalent chromium ions and fixes the trivalent chromium ions. The carbon cloth electrode with the surface connected with the sulfonic group is prepared by a hydrothermal method, hexavalent chromium is reduced by the sulfonated electrode, and the positively charged trivalent chromium ions are fixed by the negatively charged sulfonic group.
