titleOfInvention A method for detecting trimethylamine oxide in urine
abstract The invention provides a method for detecting the concentration of trimethylamine oxide in urine. More specifically, the present invention proposes a method of using the isotope internal standard as a calibrator, using creatinine content in urine to normalize the urine concentration differences of different individuals, and combining UPLC-MS/MS technology to detect TMAO concentration in urine. The method provided by the present invention can detect the concentration of creatinine while detecting the concentration of trimethylamine oxide in urine, so that the concentration of TMAO can be normalized, so that TMAO in urine can be used as a biomarker to predict and screen future heart attacks , stroke and death risks. The invention is fast, sensitive and accurate, can meet the requirements of using TMAO for non-invasive cardiovascular risk assessment and detection, and has broad application prospects.
