The boride ceramics is made by mixing ZrO 2 , Cr 2 O 3 and amorphous boron powder and ball-milling, and adopting a molding process to make a green body from the mixed powder, and heating the green body to 1500-1700°C under vacuum conditions for calcination , ground and sieved to obtain (Zr x Cr y )B 2 boride solid solution powder, wherein, 0.75≤x≤0.95, 0.05≤y≤0.25; then use spark plasma sintering to heat up the solid solution powder to 1000~1400℃ Fill it with a protective atmosphere, heat up to 1800-2200°C for sintering, and pressurize at 10-100MPa. The relative density of boride ceramics is 92.4-99.6%, the fracture toughness is 2.43-5.94MPa·m 1/2 , and the thermal conductivity is 24.5-67W/(mK). |
