titleOfInvention | Anti-epileptic effect of different extracts of aerial parts of bupleurum chinense |
abstract | The invention relates to the field of medicine, in particular to a medical application of different extracts of the aerial parts of bupleurum chinense in resisting epilepsy. The volatile oil and ethanol extract of the aerial part of bupleurum chinense is prepared by steam distillation and solvent reflux extraction. Pharmacological experiments show that different extracts of the overground part of bupleurum chinense have obvious anti-epileptic effect, wherein the anti-epileptic effect of the ethanol extract is equivalent to that of bupleurum chinense root, and the anti-epileptic effect of the volatile oil is superior to that of bupleurum chinense root. The combined use of the volatile oil of the overground part of bupleurum chinense and lamotrigine has an anti-epileptic effect which is obviously superior to the effect of singly using the components and is obviously superior to the anti-epileptic effect of the combined use of the compound preparation of bupleurum chinense and lamotrigine, and provides possibility for the safety and controllable quality of the compound preparation of Chinese and western medicines. |
