abstract | The invention discloses a neutron retardation material, which is composed of a lithium-containing substance and a material with a large fast neutron action cross section and a small epithermal neutron action cross section, and the neutron action cross section is small. The beneficial effect of the present invention is to improve the prosthetic beam quality of the neutron beam retarded by the neutron retarding material by adding lithium-containing substances to the conventional neutron retarding material. |
