titleOfInvention A detection method of goat IGF2BP1 gene insertion/deletion marker
abstract The invention discloses a method for detecting the insertion/deletion of goat IGF2BP1 gene: using the whole genome DNA of the goat to be tested as a template, amplifying partial fragments of the goat IGF2BP1 gene by PCR, then performing agarose gel electrophoresis, and identifying the goat according to the electrophoresis result. Genotypes of the 15-bp insertion/deletion polymorphism site and the 5-bp insertion/deletion polymorphism site in the IGF2BP1 gene. The different genotypes of the 15-bp and 5-bp insertion/deletion polymorphism sites of the goat IGF2BP1 gene and the combined genotype of the two sites have a significant correlation with the lambing number trait of the northern Shaanxi white cashmere goat, It can be used as a DNA marker to improve the litter size of goat. The method for detecting the goat IGF2BP1 gene insertion/deletion marker provided by the invention can be applied to the molecular marker-assisted selection breeding of goat to accelerate the establishment of an excellent goat genetic resource group.
