Symmetrically and asymmetrically branched homopolymers are modified at the surface level with functional groups capable of forming aggregates with taxanes, such as paclitaxel and its derivatives, which are insoluble or poorly water soluble. Aggregates are formed by the interaction of taxanes with homopolymers. Such aggregates improve drug solubility, stability, delivery and efficacy. |
