abstract The system for preparing acetic acid by recovering acetaldehyde from esterification wastewater comprises a stripping tower, tail gas at the top of the stripping tower is collected into a condensate tank through two-stage cooling, meanwhile, part of the tail gas enters an elution tower for elution, condensate is pumped to an acetaldehyde rectifying tower to obtain acetaldehyde, and the obtained part of the acetaldehyde enters an oxidation reactor to generate acetic acid; the bottom of the acetaldehyde rectifying tower is connected with the ethylene glycol purifying tower to recover ethylene glycol, and meanwhile, the condensate is heated by using the high temperature of the ethylene glycol purifying tower, so that the energy consumption for recovery is reduced; utilize this system, will follow the high-efficient acetaldehyde of retrieving in the tail gas that the stripper top came out, and generate acetic acid, and acetic acid can directly be used as the solvent by the PTA technology, realizes cyclic utilization, has not only overcome the environmental pollution that above-mentioned burning brought and the lower problem of combustion heating efficiency, has avoided the cost that links such as recovery acetaldehyde need be stored and transported moreover.
