abstract |
The present invention relates to the application of β-glucan extract in the immunity enhancement of avian animals. Specifically, the present invention provides a kit, the kit includes: (1) an immune enhancer for the immune enhancement of avian animals, the immune enhancer comprising an extract obtained from the cell wall of Saccharomyces cerevisiae β-glucan extract; and (2) a viral vaccine. The invention also provides the application of the β-glucan extract extracted from the cell wall of Saccharomyces cerevisiae in preparing a kit and an immune enhancer for immunity enhancement of avian animals. The present invention uses β-glucan extracted from the cell wall of Saccharomyces cerevisiae to boost immunization of avian animals, which can enhance the lymphocyte proliferation response and T cell response of the vaccinated avian animals; reduce viral load; reduce morbidity or death produce antibodies earlier; increase antibody production; and/or limit viral spread. |
