Coordinated Delivery of COPD Treatment |
abstract |
Coordinated delivery of COPD therapy. The present invention discloses methods, systems and devices for the effective and coordinated delivery of COPD therapy to the lungs of a patient. Also disclosed is a lung volume reduction system comprising an implantable device adapted to be delivered to the airway of a patient in a constrained configuration and to change to Tissue compression is configured to provide therapy to the pulmonary airways. The present invention further discloses a method for quickly and efficiently deploying the device using a single coordinated action or signal, which method may be particularly useful when deploying multiple devices at multiple target areas. |
