Disclosed herein are compositions comprising between 20 wt% and 50 wt% of a nitroxyl compound, such as 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidinyl-1-oxyl. The compositions are stable under field transport and storage conditions. The composition remains homogeneous and pumpable or pourable at temperatures between -20°C and 60°C, even if the temperature fluctuates within this range for a period of 10 days to 5 years and even for transport and storage of the composition This is true even if the container of the composition is made of metal or contains a metal surface that contacts the composition. |
