abstract The present invention relates to a solid major elastomeric composition (masterbatch, MB) comprising nano-sized silicate fibers with acicular morphology, characterized by high fiber content and uniformity, a process for its preparation, and Its use in the manufacture of tires for vehicles. Advantageously, the elastomeric composition of the invention allows minimizing the disadvantages associated with the handling of pulverulent fibers in the manufacture of tire compounds without altering their final properties.
