Ventilation components for respiratory pressure therapy (RPT) systems. The vent assembly may include a vent housing having a first aperture configured to receive a flow of pressurized gas from the RPT device, and the vent housing having a plurality of apertures to discharge the pressurized gas to in atmosphere; a vent housing connector having a second orifice configured for directing the flow of pressurized gas to a patient interface; and a heat and moisture exchanger (HME) , which includes an HME housing and an HME material within the HME housing, wherein the breather housing and the breather housing connector are configured to connect to at least partially form a cavity, and wherein the HME is positioned in the cavity when the breather assembly is assembled. |
