abstract | The invention discloses a preparation method and application of a heteroatom-doped molybdenum carbide hydrogen evolution catalyst loaded on carbon paper or carbon cloth; the preparation method comprises the steps of uniformly mixing a molybdenum source, carbon black, inorganic salt and other doped raw materials, putting the carbon fiber paper or carbon fiber cloth treated by transition metal nitrate and the mixed raw materials into a graphite crucible, putting the graphite crucible into a tubular furnace, synthesizing the carbon fiber paper or carbon fiber cloth and the mixed raw materials by a molten salt method in inert gas at the low temperature of 800-1100 ℃, and cleaning residual molten salt by using distilled water to obtain the heteroatom-doped synthetic molybdenum carbide hydrogen evolution catalyst loaded on the carbon fiber paper or the carbon fiber cloth. The high-performance and low-cost hydrogen evolution catalyst prepared by the method can keep good stability and has excellent performance close to that of a commercial 20% Pt/C catalyst under an acidic condition. The synthesis method provided by the invention has the advantages of simple flow, economy, reasonability, environmental friendliness, controllable morphology and structure, easiness in large-scale production and the like. |
