titleOfInvention | Method for producing liquid crystal alignment film, liquid crystal alignment film, and liquid crystal display element |
abstract | The manufacturing method of a liquid crystal aligning film which is equipped with the process of following (A), (B), (C) and (D), and performs a process (B) and a process (C) continuously. Step (A): A step of applying a liquid crystal aligning agent containing polyimide, which is an imide product of a polyimide precursor composed of a tetracarboxylic acid derivative component and a diamine component. The tetracarboxylic acid derivative component contains at least one selected from tetracarboxylic dianhydrides represented by the following formula (1) and derivatives thereof, and tetracarboxylic acid dianhydrides represented by the following formula (2). At least one of carboxylic dianhydrides and derivatives thereof. Process (B): The process of heating the apply|coated liquid crystal aligning agent on the condition which heat imidization does not substantially progress, and obtains a film. Step (C): a step of irradiating polarized ultraviolet rays to the film obtained in the step (B). Step (D): A step of firing the film irradiated with ultraviolet rays in the step (C) at a temperature higher than 100° C. or higher than the temperature at which the film is heated in the step (B). |
