titleOfInvention Impact Dewar
abstract A dewar for storing cryogenic fluids has an inner container configured to store cryogenic fluids and an outer container having an outer upper head and an outer lower head. The outer upper and lower heads are connected so as to define the interior of the Dewar. The inner container is located in the inner cavity of the outer container, thereby defining an isolated space between the inner container and the outer container, and the air of the isolated space is exhausted. The neck extends between the inner container and the central region of the outer upper head. The outer upper head and neck are configured to permanently deform the central region without rupture of the neck when excessive shock loads are applied to the Dewar.
