The present disclosure relates to methods for performing assays for active migration and cytotoxicity of therapeutic agents to tumor cells, eg, immune cell and/or drug homing, migration, and tumor cytotoxicity. The method is performed in a laboratory setting that provides a therapeutic agent (eg, immune cells or drugs) with an opportunity to migrate towards tumor cells, including tumor cells grown in a 3D spheroid conformation. Among other uses, this method allows the study of the effects of therapeutic agents (such as immune cells or drugs) on tumor cells and enables the study of homing, tumor cytotoxicity, and tumor immune evasion in a single, easy-to-use high-throughput system , for a more in vivo-like test. |
