abstract | The present invention relates to a red photosensitive resin composition and a color filter containing the same. The red photosensitive resin composition contains a red colorant, an alkali-soluble resin, a photopolymerizable compound, a photoinitiator and a solvent. Wherein, the red colorant comprises a red pigment and a red dye having a maximum absorption wavelength of 500 nm to 600 nm in methanol in the visible light range and 5% or less in propylene glycol methyl ether acetate (PGMEA) A soluble magenta dye; this photoinitiator is an oxime-based photoinitiator that generates methyl radicals upon light irradiation. The composition exhibits a maximum transmittance of 15% or more in the range of 380 nm to 450 nm in the xyz color coordinate measured using a C2 light source, in which the chromaticity coordinates (x, y) are x : 0.300 and y: 0.600 as green coordinates, x: 0.150 and y: 0.060 as blue coordinates, and red coordinates with 98% or more sRGB coverage. |
