titleOfInvention Microscope and method for microscopic examination of a sample
abstract The invention relates to a method for microscopic examination of a sample with a microscope, which comprises an objective and an image sensor for converting an image imaged by the objective onto the image sensor. The field of view of the microscope can be changed by selecting a section of the image sensor. In a method step, an initial image (01) of at least one partial region of the sample is recorded using a microscope, for which purpose a first field of view is selected on the microscope. The initial image (01) is analyzed in order to determine at least two distinct fields of view for imaging the partial regions, wherein the partial regions of the initial image (01) are imaged by each of the partial region imaged fields of view. For each of the known fields of view for imaging a partial region, an image (03) of the partial region of the sample is taken. The invention also relates to a microscope for microscopic examination of a sample.
