A biaxially oriented polypropylene film, when the maximum height roughness of one side of the biaxially oriented polypropylene film is recorded as Sz1, and the maximum height roughness of the other side is recorded as Sz2 (wherein Sz1≦Sz2), Sz1 is 50 To 500 nm, protrusions with a length of 10 μm or less and a height of 50 to 200 nm are present on at least one surface at a frequency of having 5 or more protrusions in an area of 100 μm square.
