abstract | The invention relates to the technical field of astaxanthin processing and preparation, in particular to methoxy polyethylene glycol astaxanthin acetate and a preparation method thereof. The method comprises the steps of taking chemically synthesized free astaxanthin or free astaxanthin of natural sources as a main skeleton, and taking methoxy polyethylene glycol acetic acid (mPEG-CM) as an acyl donor and a hydrophilic group to prepare the methoxy polyethylene glycol acetic acid astaxanthin ester with high water solubility. The mPEG-CM @ PEG prepared by the invention has the solubility of 32mg/ml in ultrapure water at 25 ℃, and can be used as feed additives of aquatic products, livestock and poultry and the like; can be used as food colorant; can be used in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, etc.; can be used as functional component for developing health food. Due to the good water solubility, the application range of the astaxanthin is greatly improved. |
