abstract | The valuable substance recovery method of the present invention includes: a discharge step of a lithium ion battery; and a thermal decomposition step of subjecting the discharged lithium ion battery to heat treatment, thermal decomposition to remove combustible components, and reduction of the lithium compound of the positive electrode active material to magnetic oxidation material; crushing process, crushing the thermally decomposed lithium ion battery to a size that is subjected to wind sorting, and leaving a part of the magnetic oxide on the aluminum foil, and peeling off the remaining magnetic oxide from the aluminum foil; sieving process , sieve the crushed material and separate it into an over-sieve product and an under-sieve product, and recover the magnetic oxide and negative active material components contained in the under-screen product; in the wind separation process, the over-sieve product is separated into heavy products and light products; and a magnetic separation process for sorting and recovering aluminum foils with the magnetic oxides remaining from the light products in the form of magnetic attachments, and recovering copper foils with non-magnetic attachments. |
