abstract | The electrochemiluminescence unit (10) has a light-emitting layer (12) and electrodes (13, 14) arranged on each surface of the light-emitting layer (12). The light-emitting layer (12) contains: a polymer material having a transport function of electrons and holes, light-emitting by receiving holes and electrons from the polymer material, or excitation generated by the combination of holes and electrons on the polymer material luminescent materials and electrolytes that emit light. The light-emitting material is a compound having a methylenepyrrole skeleton. The light-emitting layer (12) is preferably colorless and transparent in the wavelength region of visible light in a state where no voltage is applied. |
