abstract | The invention discloses a method for synthesizing 4-(2-(N,N-dimethylamino)ethyl)morpholine. It belongs to the field of fine chemical technology. The technical scheme adopted is as follows: using toluene as a solvent, N,N-dimethylethanolamine and p-toluenesulfonic acid are heated and refluxed at 110-120° C. to carry out esterification reaction to generate N,N-dimethylethanolamine-p-toluenesulfonic acid ester; N,N-dimethylethanolamine p-toluenesulfonate reacts with morpholine with or without basic catalyst, and the obtained reaction mixture is rectified to obtain pure product. The method of the invention has cheap and easy-to-obtain raw materials, simple synthesis process, mild reaction conditions, simple post-processing process and high yield, and the raw material p-toluenesulfonic acid can be recycled and used repeatedly, thereby reducing costs. The important thing is that the reaction process does not produce strong irritating gas, which greatly reduces the health hazards to the operators, and at the same time does not require special corrosion-resistant equipment, which is conducive to industrial production. |
