The open reading frame of the IiWRKY34 gene has a sequence shown in SEQ ID NO.1, the IiWRKY34 gene regulates the synthesis of lignans of isatis indigotica, and when the IiWRKY34 gene of isatis indigotica inhibits expression, the synthesis amount of the lignans is reduced by at least 50% compared with that of a wild type; when the IiWRKY34 gene of Isatis tinctoria is over-expressed, the synthetic amount of lignans is at least 2 times of that of wild Isatis tinctoria, thus providing an alternative target for researching and regulating the active ingredients of Isatis tinctoria from gene level.
