titleOfInvention Method for improving growth of seedlings of sargassum fusiforme
abstract The invention discloses a method for improving the growth of seedlings of sargassum fusiforme. The method comprises the following steps: adding seawater into a seedling raising pool of the juvenile sporophytes of the sargassum fusiforme, testing the total alkalinity, the pH value, the salinity, the temperature and the concentration of nutrient substances of the seawater, and calculating the concentration of inorganic carbon; and adding the sodium bicarbonate solution into the seedling raising pond, calculating the concentration of the inorganic carbon in the seawater again, and observing whether the sodium bicarbonate is added continuously or not. The sodium bicarbonate used in the invention has low price, is safe and easily obtained, and is easy to realize large-scale agricultural production; sodium bicarbonate is added to change the composition of a carbonate system of the culture seawater, the concentration of inorganic carbon (TIC) in the culture seawater is increased, the operation is simple and convenient, the growth speed of the seedlings of the sargassum fusiforme is safely and effectively increased, the time is saved for the subsequent sargassum fusiforme cultivation, and the yield of the sargassum fusiforme is increased; the method for improving the growth of the seedlings provided by the invention has strong implementation and has certain practical significance for the large-scale cultivation of the sargassum fusiforme industry in the offshore area of China.
