abstract The invention discloses a method and a device for testing the content distribution of moisture on the surface layer of aggregate, wherein the method comprises the steps of obtaining a plurality of aggregates to be tested which are same in material but different in moisture content, detecting and identifying all the components on the surface layer of the aggregate, and obtaining a plurality of surface layer components; acquiring a plurality of material groups to be detected and performing spectrum detection on each material group to be detected to obtain hyperspectral images of pixels of the materials to be detected of the same material under different water contents, and then obtaining hyperspectral images of pixels of each surface layer component under different water contents; performing spectrum detection on the aggregate surface layer of each aggregate to be detected to obtain hyperspectral images of pixels of the aggregate surface layer of the aggregate to be detected under different water contents; and then matching to obtain the moisture content of each surface component of the aggregate surface layer of the aggregate to be detected under different water contents. By implementing the embodiment of the invention, the content distribution of different components of the moisture in the aggregate surface layer can be quantitatively detected.
