abstract |
The fluid is fed into the polymer bed of the fluidized bed gas phase polymerization reactor by introducing the fluid into the polymer bed through a distributor extending into the fluidized bed zone of the reactor and terminating at the discharge end. The position satisfies the following formula: d/D > 0.002, where d is the distance from the discharge end of the distributor to the reactor wall, and D is the diameter of the reactor in the fluidized bed zone. |
