abstract The invention discloses modified PP (polypropylene), a preparation method thereof and a double-screw extruder for preparing the modified PP, wherein the modified PP is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 22-36 parts of PP resin, 25-37 parts of Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM), 10-45 parts of talcum powder, 12-23 parts of polycarbonate, 11-19 parts of polyamide, 9-16 parts of modified polyphenyl ether, 13-22 parts of thermoplastic polyester, 1-7 parts of stabilizer, 2-9 parts of compatilizer and 2-7 parts of antioxidant. According to the modified PP and the preparation method thereof, the characteristics of high impact, weather resistance, high flow and spraying can be improved by adopting the PP resin + EPDM + T15+ polycarbonate, the characteristics of high rigidity, weather resistance, scratch resistance and low odor can be improved by adopting the PP resin + EPDM + T20+ polyamide, the characteristics of rigidity balance and low shrinkage can be improved by adopting the PP resin + EPDM + T30+ modified polyphenyl ether, and the characteristics of high-melt index, low odor and rigidity balance can be improved by adopting the PP resin + EPDM + T40+ thermoplastic polyester.
