titleOfInvention | Rubber composition comprising a modified diene elastomer |
abstract | The invention relates to a rubber composition consisting at least of a reinforcing filler, a crosslinking system, a plasticizing system and an elastomer matrix comprising at least one modified diene elastomer comprising within its structure at least one alkoxysilane group bonded to the elastomer via a silicon atom, which alkoxysilane group can be partially or completely hydrolyzed to a silanol and optionally carries a further functional group bonded directly to a silicon atom or bonded to a silicon atom via a spacer group, the modified diene elastomer satisfying the following conditions: the diene elastomer, before modification, has a polydispersity index of at least 1.1 and at most 1.6, and has a Mooney viscosity ranging from 50 to 80 and a glass transition temperature (Tg) strictly less than-50 ℃, preferably less than or equal to-60 ℃ and greater than or equal to-110 ℃. |
