abstract |
The present disclosure relates to a lance barrel (1) having a central through hole extending along a longitudinal axis (A). The lance tube has a double-layered end portion (2) with an annular outer layer (4) made of a first alloy resistant to high temperature corrosion and an annular inner layer (5) made of a second alloy, and wherein the inner and outer layers are mechanically interlocked, and wherein a metallic bond has been formed between the inner and outer layers by thermal working; and the main part (3) of the monolayer made of said second alloy. The lance tube is suitable for use in lime kilns. |
